80Benjamin "Ali" Corniel Jr., 79, of Kahului, a retired Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. harvesting supervisor, died in Hale Makua. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by former wife Kathleen Sacapanio; sons Clifford Corniel and Benjamin S.K. Sacapanio; daughters Enid Lyn Cabatbat and Ruby Ragragola; brother Edward and Allen; sisters Mildred Jones, Nancy Reynolds, Anita Bonillia and Janice Operim; stepbrother George Rio Jr.; stepsister Sylvia Rio; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. today at Christ the King Church. Call after 9 a.m.
