Earl Thomas Newton, 66, of Ewa Beach, a retired civil service information management officer with the U.S. Army and a Navy veteran, died. He was born in Model, Tenn. He is survived by wife Jean; sons Thomas and William; brothers Jim, Marvin and George; and sisters Linda King and Jaunita Montgomery. Services: 6 p.m. Monday at Lanakila Baptist Church. Committal services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire.
