SETH GILBERT FRANKEL
Seth Gilbert Frankel, 41, passed away in Auburn, Washington on May 21, 2010. An award-winning videographer and a man who loved family, friends, nature, music, and life, Seth was a former Hawai'i resident. After graduating from Punahou School, he received his degree in Telecommunication and Film from the University of Oregon. He stayed on the mainland to pursue his career in non-commercial television, working most recently at Kent TV21. Seth always considered Hawai'i his home and visited regularly. Seth adored his daughters, Abigail and Maile, who survive him. He is also survived by partner Bonny Jean Johnson of Auburn, parents Dr. Richard and Donna Frankel of Honolulu and Emily and Ron Markowitz of Virginia, sister Caitlin Rowe of Michigan, stepbrother Gavin Hamano of Oregon, stepsister Tara Hirohata of Honolulu, niece Ellie and nephew Makana. A gathering of family, friends, and colleagues was held in Washington. Ashes will be scattered in Hawai'i at a later time. |
