74Richard "Dik" Benson, 69, of Kihei, Dik Benson Salon owner, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Orofino, Idaho. He is survived by sons Shawn and Karl, daughter Teresa Carter and Kendal Benson, mother Edra Mattson, brother Don, sisters Sharon Vahlkamp and Deana Johnson, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
