72Toshiyuki Tanaka, 86, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team during World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Hamakua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Yoshino; son Gerald; daughters Gail and Lois Tanaka, and Irene Kotaka; brother Toshiharu; sisters Kikue Taniguchi and Shizue Ono; and two grandchildren. Private services.
