ZEMBIK JR.
Age 73, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away May 18, 2010 in Aiea. Born August 25, 1936. He was one of four Michael Zembiks featured on KGMB documentary on 100th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard of four generations of Zembiks. Family would like to express fond appreciation to Dr. William Loui and his staff at OnCare Hawaii, Inc.. Also, Dr Ky Le and the staff at Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi ICU. He along with his wife Yvonne were the foundation of the family and was proudest of his children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. Retired as a painter supervisor at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard after 30 yrs Shop 71.
He is survived by wife, Yvonne Zembik; son, Michael (Pam) Zembik III; daughters, Cheryl Puanani (Dan Musk) Zembik, Debra Jean Haunani (Dave) Alison; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Alfred (Carol) Zembik of CA; sisters, Mildred Chambrella, Barbara (Norman) Oshiro; aunts, Elizabeth & Sophie Zembik.
Visitation 8:30 a.m. Saturday (June 26) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Prayer Service 10:00 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha Attire. Flowers Welcome. |
