74Robert Ichiro Watanabe, 84, of Kailua, a Hawaiian Tug & Barge chief engineer and Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born on Maui. He is survived by wife Lilly; daughters Jodi Smith and Rae Piesner; and six grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 9:30 a.m. No flowers.
