76Takumi Sawamoto, also known as "John" and "One Cup," 93, of Ewa Beach, a retired Ewa and Waipahu Sugar Plantation employee and Army veteran with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 2nd Battalion, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by brothers Tsutomu, Masaru and Stanley K. Services: 6 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Call after 5:30 p.m.
