74Robert G. Vegas, 63, of Seattle, a retired Seattle Police Department detective and an Army sergeant who served in the Vietnam War, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughter Michele V. Evans; mother Matilda B.; brother Alan M.; sisters Stephanie V. Salveson, Geraldine Foster, Antoinette Vegas and Victoria Muraki; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 10 a.m. Private burial.
