79John Hiroshi Nitanai Hanohano, 52, of Hilo, a Sears repair technician, Honolulu Zoo maintenance engineer and Marine Corps veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Japan. He is survived by wife Edie; sons Lark Hanohano and Michael Yomes; daughter Kristian Yomes; father Edward Perales Jr.; brothers Edward, Joey, Richard, Bruce and Tim; sisters Theresa Nakayama, Kathy Perales and Ida Hanohano; and four grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Friday at the Epiphany Episcopal Church, Kaimuki. Call after 5 p.m.
