81Kikuye Murata, 99, of Aiea, a retired Palama Gakuen Japanese-language teacher, died. She was born in Ewa. She is survived by sons Arthur H. and John K. Shinkawa and Noel J. Murata; brother Ernest K. Wakimura; sisters Jeanne U. Atkinson, Elsie T. Murao and Betsy Y. Wong; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
