72Joseph Kalepo "Kalipo" Mainaaupo Sr., 67, of Kahuku, a retired city sanitation engineer, died in Honolulu. He was born in Kahuku. He is survived by wife Rose; sons Joseph Jr. and Samuel Mainaaupo, and Bronsen Castillo; daughters Lolanda Mainaaupo-Remigio and Lynn Mainaaupo-Eugenio; brothers Samuel, Peter, Kawika, William and Joel Mainaaupo, and Solomon Matthews; sisters Margie Rego, Emily Aruda and Gloria Needs; hanai brothers Roger Heffernan, Kena Tufui, Francis Aki, Pele Marasco, Keenan Ponciano, John Kawaauhau and Alfred Bode; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
