78Rose Elizabeth Vilela, 86, of Kapaa, Kauai, a boat captain for Wailua River Excursions and Waialeale Boat Tours to Fern Grotto, died in Aiea. She was born in Lihue. She is survived by daughter Patricia J. Souza, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Church, Kapaa. Mass and celebration of life: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at family plot in the church cemetery. Service information added to an obituary printed Wednesday.
