73Bette Louise Heck, 88, of Ocean View, Hawaii, a Rocketdyne technical illustrator, manager for the former Kamaaina Hale and owner of the former Bette's Ceramic Studio of Kona, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Glendale, Calif. She is survived by sons Kenneth, Stephen and Loren; sister Doris Shoop; caregivers Margaret and Janusz Danielewski; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Loren Heck's residence, 92-9178-A Ginger Blossom Lane in Ocean View. Private scattering of ashes at a later date.
