74Thomas Tomiyoshi "Tom" Kawano, 94, of Waimea, Hawaii, a founder of Tom Kawano Inc., died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Hiroshima, Japan. He is survived by wife Amy; sons Wendell and Ray; sister Harriet Iwai; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 4 p.m. Thursday at Kamuela Hongwanji Mission.
