81Joan Hiromasa, 72, of Kailua-Kona, a retired Kona Community Hospital registered professional nurse, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, Ill. She is survived by son James; daughters Ellen Hiromasa and Michelle Heuer; hanai brothers James, John, Robert, Henry and Kevin Kennedy; hanai sisters Elizabeth La Grua, Patricia Vernino, Kathleen Kemnetz, Mary Haas, Romana Cole and Eileen Kennedy; and five grandchildren.
