82Shigeru "Shige" Uehara, 82, of Honolulu, a retired state Department of Transportation employee and retired Army command sergeant major, died. He was born in Mana, Kauai. He is survived by sisters Myrtle M. Uehara and Eloise Y. Umeda. Visitation: 1 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 2 p.m. Casual attire.
