77Melvin Tamotsu Uyeda, 67, of Hilo, a retired Hawaiian Airlines agent at Hilo Airport, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Annette, son Shane, daughter Cheryl Hung, sisters Elsie Muramoto and Verna Voght, and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire.
