78Jose Sistoza "Joe" Sarte Sr., 91, of Waipahu, a retired Hawaii Painting Co. painter, died in Waipahu. He was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Dorothia "Laling"; daughters Stephanie Fermin, Virgie Cachola and Jenney and Joelle Sarte; brother Marcos; sisters Lydia Sistoza and Clarita Savedra; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. Services: 7 p.m. Monday and 8:45 a.m. Tuesday. Burial: 10 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
