Darlene Flores Merritt, 52, of Mililani, a Kipapa Elementary School cafeteria worker, died in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Matthew L., son Gerald A., daughter Reylene Carino, father Juan Flores, mother Sue Mayonado, stepfather Ernest Abaya; brothers Jace and Jonathan Flores and Ernest D. "Sonny" Abaya; and half--brothers and half-sisters. Visitation: 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 7 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
