Wilfred “Maka” Hoomama Makaehu Jr, 59, of Keaau, HI, formerly of Honolulu, HI, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu, HI on Sept. 14, 1950. He was a Refuse Supervisor for the Kailua Refuse at Kapaa/Quarry. He was a member of the State-Wide Alii Motorcycle Club, Kaneohe Canoe Club, the St. John’s By The Sea Kahalu’u Episcopal Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.
