VERNON JAMES “PANCHO” VILLA

Vernon James “Pancho” Villa, 69, of Makakilo, born in Honolulu, died July 30, 2010. He was a retired Fire Captain for the Federal Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Dale; sons, Kanani, Nainoa, Frank, William; daughters, Kaiminaauao Cruz, Kamaileohualalai Barnes, Keakealaniwahineopuna Motas, Denise Villa and Mona Pang; brothers, Freeman Allen, Alvin Kaohu, Walter Kaohu, Freddy Villa, and Vincent Villa; sister, Aileen Gaza; stepmother, Emma Villa; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces. Wake services will be held on Thursday (Aug 19) at Borthwick Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services the next day, Friday (Aug 20) at Borthwick Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Burial will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.
