'OFA K. MCCONNELL
Age 80, Kailua, HI passed away in Michigan on August 7, 2010. She was born in Kolomotu'a Tonga on April 14, 1930 and she lived in Kailua Hawaii since 1970, moving to Dimondale, Michigan with her daughter (Putney) in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. McConnell, and brothers, Mahe 'Uli 'Uli Tupouniua, Tesimoni Tupouniua, Penisimani Tupouniua, Tevita F. Tupouniua and sister, Alamita Tupouniua. Surviving is: daughter, Putney (Jim) White of Dimondale, 2 grandchildren, Patricia and Christopher White, sister, Heu Tuli, brothers, Sitili Tupouniua, Tevita L. Tupouniua, Lopeti Tupouniua and Sione Tupouniua, several nieces and nephews and many loyal loving friends.
The family will receive friends from 7:00pm-10:00pm Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Kailua United Methodist Church, 1110 Kailua Rd., Kailua. The funeral service will be held at 7:30am Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Kailua United Methodist Church, Kailua with burial to follow in Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kaneohe, HI.
