72Jeanne Hitt Chalaire, 85, of Keaau, Hawaii, retired owner and director of the Village Nursery Pre-School in Sea Cliff, N.Y., died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Westerville, Ohio. She is survived by daughters Darien C. Morris and Deirdre C. Humphrey, brother William Hitt, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Saturday at Puna Covenant Church, Keaau. Casual attire. No flowers.
