Shoji "George" Yamane, 82, of Honalo, Hawaii, a retired County of Hawaii mechanic, coffee farmer and Army veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Honalo. He is survived by wife Itsuyo; sons Daniel and Ray; daughters Nora Oshiro and Susie Villasenor; brother Tsukasa; sisters Yukie and Edna Yamane, and Betsy McDowell and Pearl Haynes; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Daifukuji Soto Mission, Honalo. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
