Age 62, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away August 5, 2010 in Waianae. Born August 27, 1947 in Makawao, Hawaii. "Da Bear" was a stock car racing legend at Hawaii Raceway Park. Driver of the legendary #18.
He is survived by wife, Ginger M. Moniz; sons, Wilfred "Boy" (Pebbles) Moniz, Shane (Tasia) Moniz, Chad (Cary) Moniz, Sheldon (Nickole) Moniz; brothers, Steven (Nani) Moniz, Abel Moniz, Robert (Annie) Moniz, Sam (Gloria) Moniz; sister, Babina "Sista" Mahiai; 11 grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Friday (August 27) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 7:00 p.m.
