JOHN SOUSA
John Sousa was a loving man and a veteran. We are saddened to announce his passing on July 18, 2010. His son George, daughter Laurie and husband Mike and grandchildren Gianni and Camryn survive him. His sister Mary and niece Sasha also love and miss him.
He served as a Paratrooper and medic with the 101st Screaming Eagles Airborne Division. He loved Hawaii and was proud of his Portuguese roots. He was Clinical Director for I.H.S. Hawaii, specializing in support services for Veterans, Homeless, and displaced Women and Children. It was more than a job. It was a way of life giving to others.
John's was a published poet, MLS member, and world traveler of different cultures. He was a man who made a difference. We love you J.B. (Johnny Boy) and will never forget you.
