David Kiyoshi Umeda, 87, of Honolulu, a retired National Guard administrator, Army veteran and member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company M, died in the Tripler Army Medical Center for Aging. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Janet, sons Steven and Bruce, daughter Audrey Hane, sister Rose Maruoka, caregiver Juliana Yamada and five grandchildren. Private services.
