Age 67, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away August 22, 2010 in Honolulu. Born April 24, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Raymond retired as a supply clerk from the Federal Government. He was the President of Kidney Organization for Renal Rehabilitation.
He is survived by wife, Dorothy "Pumpkin" Akaka; son, Raymond "Peanuts" Akaka, Jr.; daughter, Roxie Ann "Penney" (Steven) Alpha; brothers, Eugene (Inge) Akaka of Colorado, Isaac (Lala) Littlejohn; sisters, Helen "Ah Kwai" (Francis) Balmores, Bernadette "Maile" (Leland) Yagi; 2 grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Visitation 8:30 a.m. Wednesday (September 8) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 10:15 a.m. Burial 11:00 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
