72Eric Wayne Pacheco, 53, of Laupahoehoe, Hawaii, a retired Mauna Kea Ranch water systems operator, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Anna; daughters Sabina Kupa, Sydney Popovich, Melissa Medeiros and Rachel and Erica Pacheco; mother Agnes; sister Claudette Rivella; and nine grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hospice of Hilo, 1011 Wai-anuenue Ave. Casual attire.
