Age 87, of Waialua, Hawaii, passed away July 24, 2010 in Honolulu. Born March 27, 1923 in Waialua, Hawaii. He was a WWII veteran with the 442nd Infantry Regiment “I” Company, and recipient of 2 purple hearts.

He is survived by wife, Bessie Masako Watanabe; sons, Stanford (Kristine) Watanabe of SF; daughters, Marian (Wayne) Clingingsmith of SF, Sue (Gary) Oshita, Lisa (Erik) Williams; 5 grandchildren; brother, Masashi (Atsuko) Watanabe of Japan; sisters, Kikue Maruyama of Brazil, Shimae (Tomio) Fukuda; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation 5:15 p.m. Saturday (September 11) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:00 p.m. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
