Hiroshi Shimizu, 88, of Mililani, a retired metallurgical engineer, died. He was born in Lewiston, Utah. He is survived by wife Fukiko, daughters Karen Shimizu and Janis Cassida, brothers Jim and Masaru, sister Ida Tateoka and three grandchildren. Private services held in Salt Lake City.
