Philip Canencia Eliana Sr., 89, of Hanamaulu, Kauai, a retired heavy equipment operator, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by sons Sterling, Ruben and Philip Jr.; daughters Sheila Daluz, Francine Gatan and Trinette Hepa; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
