George Bridges, also known as "Gel" and "George Allen," 81, of Hauula, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Cy M., Kaipo, Kalei and Stacy; daughters Hoolaulea Steffen; hanai son Vernon Cox; brother Granville "Randy"; sisters Mary Ellen Aana and Elaine G. Colburn; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hauula, makai chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Graveside services: 1:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples. Aloha attire.
