Walter Christopher Freitas, 87, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Trust Co.-Bank of Hawaii senior vice president and treasurer and an Army staff sergeant who served in World War II, died in St. Francis Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Violet Y., son Jeffrey, daughters Bonnie E. Freitas and Kimberley Sherrell, sisters Eleanor McDonald and Adeline J. Freitas, and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment: 2 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. In lieu of flowers, donation suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
