Edward William Lopes, 83, of Kailua, a pipe fitter in Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe, and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Kula, Maui. He is survived by daughter Linda Kahanaoi, sister Marian and four grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Tuesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Burial: 11 a.m. next Wednesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
