Mary Gertrude Forde, 86, of Ewa Beach, formerly of Carlsbad, Calif., died at Kina'ole Estate, Kaneohe. She is survived by daughters Candace L. Charlet, Lt. Col. Mary L. Forde and Bridget E. Ferrer; brother Joseph Pince; sister Joyce Ederer; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mass: 6 p.m. today at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ewa Beach. Additional celebration will be held Oct. 22 on the mainland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Service Organizations.
