Cecil E. Sylva, 87, of Pukalani, Maui, a retired Army veteran and Alexander & Baldwin employee, died at home. He was born in Paia. He is survived by wife Gisela, son Steven, daughter Cristal Koki, brother Randall "Buster," sister Vera DeMello and three grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Ballard Family Mortuary.
