74Filomeno "Meno" Palacol, 86, of Papaikou, Hawaii, a retired cook's helper for the former Hilo Lagoon Hotel, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by brother Hilarion. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. No flowers.
