SHARLENE "SKOSHI" SMYTHE
67, passed away Sept 4th 2010 after a 10 year battle with breast cancer. Born and raised in Honolulu, a 1960 graduate of Kaimuki High School. She worked in advertising for Consolidated Theaters in the 60s, then in 1968 began a career with the State of Hawai`i in the Traffic Violations Bureau that spanned 36 years. She also held a 2nd full time position with St. John the Baptist School from 1980 - 1995.
She is survived by daughter, Nicole, granddaughter Kanuku Lokelani, greatgrandson Alexander Jacob (Munkie); sisters Ynez and Pamela; brothers Larry, Nicholas, Wayne; step siblings Michelle and Ray.
Visitation and Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Church (Kalihi), 2340 Omilo Lane on Saturday October 16th at 10am.
