Robert Kaleihopu Asui Sr.
Oct. 4, 2010 Robert Kaleihopu Asui Sr., 86, of Waimanalo, formerly of Kaimuki and Palolo, an Oahu Transit Services bus operator and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Robert K. Jr. and Samuel K.; daughter Renee M. Kaai; brothers Alexander "Boy" and Roger Ross; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and caregivers Mele Langi, Tupou Ikahihifo, Cassandra Ching, Agnes "Momi" Joseph and Cindy Goshi. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Inurnment: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
