Susana L. Sabala, 78, of Pearl City, formerly of Kekaha, Kauai, a retired Metropolitan Maintenance employee, died. She was born in Kekaha. She is survived by husband Joseph, sons Leonard and Jonathan Sr., daughter Shelly Espiritu, brother Raymond Hesapene, hanai sister Dora Tinao, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Oct. 25 at St. Theresa Church, Kekaha. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Cemetery. Casual attire. No flowers for Hono-lulu service.
