Sumiye Kimura Okada, 94, of Kahului, a retired DOE teacher, died at Arcadia Retirement Residence. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons David, Jon and Peter, daughter Stephanie Panter, sister Take Sugimoto, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Honolulu memorial services at the Arcadia Chapel at 3 PM on Nov. 3. Maui memorial services at Kahului Union Church at 4 PM on Nov. 4. Aloha attire. Private burial. No monetary offerings and no flowers, please.
