Ruth Kaui Cutcher, 80, of Kailua, also known as "Cutch" and "Slim," a retired licensed practical nurse at Castle Medical Center and Straub Kailua Clinic who served in the Army Medical Corps in the Korean War, died in Kailua. She was born in Hanalei, Kauai. She is survived by sons David K. Jr. and Fredrick K., daughters Debra R. Atonio and Kristine DeCorte, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Vianney Church, 920 Keolu Drive, Kailua. Services: 10:15 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
