76Walter R. Fitzsimmons, 55, of Kihei, Maui, a retired Verizon Communications system analyst, died at home. He was born in Queens, N.Y. He is survived by wife Abby, parents Walter J. and Patricia, brother James and sisters Patricia Pfeister, Jane LaVelle, Sue Pereira and Barbara Fitzsimmons. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. today at Ballard Family Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
