72NoRene Virginia Fomenko-Kai, 62, of Pahoa, Hawaii, died at her son's home in Kurtistown, Hawaii. She was born in Monterey, Calif. She is survived by companion Paul Kai; sons Brian and Mark Fomenko and Jaime and Jesse Podratz; daughters Lisa Sinisi, Sara Poulin and Julie-Alia Kai; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
