JUANITA "NITA" BONNER
Nita Bonner former resident of Honolulu Hawaii and most recent resident of San Ramon CA. Nita passed away in her home in San Ramon, CA with her sons by her side on October 23, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with Lung Cancer.
Born Juanita Jean Bonner on August 3, 1936 in Huron South Dakota. A graduate of Tumwater High School, WA, Nita joined her family that had already passed, father-Eugene Sparling, mother- Lou Sparling and brother-Robert Sparling. Nita celebrated her life with two sons - Scott Bonner of Honolulu HI and Brad Bonner of Danville, CA, daughter Beth Burden of Auburn Washington and her five Grandchildren: Mark Bonner, Eric Bonner, Jacqi Bonner, Mandy Burden and Kimo Burden. Nita a resident of Hawaii for over 25 years was a highly recognized Real Estate Agent/ Broker for many years with Dolman Associates in Honolulu, HI. She was a Licensed Insurance Agent for Nationwide Insurance in Sacramento, CA. In 2004 Nita retired from Nationwide Insurance and moved into a retirement community in San Ramon CA, Sunny Glen. At Sunny Glen Nita Bonner spent the last years of her life with family and friends. She worked as a receptionist at Villa San Ramon. She loved her job at The Villa and worked there until 3 weeks before her passing.
Most importantly, she was a strong,loving and supportive Mother to her Family and Friends. She had a love for her Persian cats Petsey, Coco and KiKi. She will be deeply missed by all. Her life will be celebrated by her family privately. In memory of Nita, donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
