Gavino V. Villanueva, 82, of Kahului, a retired anthurium farm nurseryman, died in Kahului. He was born in Mangaldan, Pangasinan, Philippines. He is survived by wife Primitiva; sons Carlito and Renato; daughters Virginia Galima, Letecia Ventanilla, Emilia Muerong, Marilyn Cera, Precila Agpaoa, Lilia Villanueva-Sebastian and Lorena Carino; 31 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Pahoa Sacred Heart Church, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at the church. Mass: 9 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery.
