74Ellen Takeko Oda, 86, of Torrance, Calif., formerly of Honolulu, died in California. She was born in Makawao, Maui. She is survived by daughters Marianne Higa, Bernie Alejandro, Cathy Poon and Clarine Hirouji; brother Harry Higa; sisters Mildred Ige, Theodora Nakagawa, Sister Bernadette Higa and Sister Mary Louise Higa; and four grandchildren. Services to be held in Torrance.
