Shigeyo Akamine, 94, of Pearl City, formerly of Kalihi Valley, a retired Flamingo Restaurant pantry employee, died in St. Francis Hospice. She was born in Waialua. She is survived by sons Thomas and Wallace; daughters Nancy Nakamura, Leatrice Sakuma and Sandra Sakata; three sisters; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Private services. Age 85, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away November 2, 2010 in Pearl City. Born December 11, 1924 in Tottori, Japan. Chisato was a former chef to Governor Ariyoshi and a Japanese cooking class instructor-volunteer attached to the Kapiolani Community College Culinary Arts Program.

She is survived by husband, Robert Chinen; sons, Eugene Kikuchi, Robert (Myra) Chinen, Jr., Fritz (Cora) Chinen; daughters, Emogene Estores, Shirley Ishihara, Leilani (Donn) Tanaka, Margrethe (Tony) Kleiber of VA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Age 42, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away October 18, 2010 in Waipahu. Born November 9, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Robert was employed at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary as a grounds maintenance worker for 21 years, a former employee of Blazin’ Steaks, Waiau/Pearl City, & a 1985 graduate of Leilehua High School. He was also a true sports fanatic. Robert was a friend to everyone and loved by all.

He is survived by wife, Lenora “Nora” Ichioka; father, Clarence T. Ichioka; brother, Stephen “Steve” Ichioka; sister, Janice (Dean) Fukawa; mother-in-law, Rosalina Rasa; nephews, Ethan, Eric and Quinn Fukawa.
